About Jennifer L. Harris

I’m seasoned marketing communications professional who loves working with creative arts and business professionals of all stripes. I’m also the part-time managing director of The Chicago Ensemble, one of Chicago’s oldest and most respected chamber music organizations. I’ve been involved with the arts in capacity or another since high school, when I played viola in youth symphony and tormented my viola teacher by not practicing very hard (but I did play in tune!). I started this blog because I’m fascinated by how today’s arts organizations — particularly those in Chicago, where I live and work — are reaching out to new and familiar audiences through innovative programming and smart marketing strategies.
